The Beginning of Our Journey

In April 2026, Tony traveled to Amsterdam to explore nearby cities as potential places to live. Tony's objectives for this trip included exploring the following:
1. Housing: The Dutch are experiencing a housing crisis. More people are emigrating there and there's only so much developed land for urban living. So much of this trip was focused, not on sightseeing, but exploring where people live outside of Amsterdam and what those cities and neighborhoods offer.
2. 'Murica: The global sentiments toward Americans are deteriorating rapidly for many reasons. Tony couldn't hide his "American-ness" and this would help us determine how welcomed he felt.
3. Education: Tony had the opportunity to tour an International School so he could imagine if it looked like the kind of environment "lil O" could adapt to and if the curriculum would be accommodating of her transitioning from the U.S.
